Outside Sales Executive

Duties Responsibilities: Increase domestic market share for furniturefromhome.com office furniture products and services within a specified territory. Create and execute on a plan to develop business for Furniture From Home’s office furniture line for all commercial business, local and state government entities. Identify, qualify and engage in leads who would benefit from Furniture From Home’s products and services. Work with purchasers, office managers and C Level executives to build a strong relationship with Furniture From Home. Accurately forecast realistic opportunities to Sales Management on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Keep CRM database clean and organized. Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss forecasting, account activity, plan execution and market penetration. First Sixty-Day Expectations: Territory acclimation and product training is expected to be completed within the first 30 days of employment. After 30 days 90 percent of the Senior Account Executives time should be dedicated to account development and 10 percent of the time in administrative and training functions. It is at this point that the Senior Account Executive will be expected to perform as a full functional, revenue contributing member of the sales team. First-Year Expectations: Our expectations is that the Senior Account Executive will achieve all established revenue goals and objectives within the first year, and find a rewarding career as a valued member of our growing sales team. Requirements: The ideal candidate’s profile includes: intelligence, strong moral fiber, flexibility, experience, energy, decisiveness, self-management, motivation and creativity. Ability to achieve results working within large, complex customer organizations. Strong business acumen with an ability to apply same to opportunities within target markets. Proven experience selling and developing business relationships within all purchasing levels of a company. Minimum 2 years business to business sales experience (preferably in furniture but not required) Strong, provable track record of over-achievement and consistent quota attainment. More Info Furniture From Home is a nationwide specialty furniture retailer offering a huge selection of home & Office furnishings not widely available by other retailers. Furniture From Home has an open position for a Senior Account Executive taking on the NY Territory. Must be authorized to work in the US. This is an outside sales position selling B2B office furniture. Since this is an outside sales position you will be working remote from your home. We will provide you companies to call on, all of these leads are considered cold so you must have experience cold calling into business’. This also is a straight commission position, there will be no salary or hourly pay.
